I have a “what to do next” question for CA candidates…

I have selected my sections from the Californial Board of Accountancy website.

My home page now says the ATT has been sent to NASBA.

I think I am just waiting on a payment coupon?

(when should I expect to see this? email or snailmail? or online through login???)

Then once I pay I wait for a NTS?

Maybe I am making this way more complicated.

Yes you need to wait for the payment coupon to be received via email. Once you pay that, then you wait for a NTS to come also in email. Its usually just a few days, maybe a week if they are backed up, between selecting sections and receiving the payment coupon, then usually just a few more days to get the NTS.

wow this post is perfect timing for me. i sent the ATT (where i had to select which tests i wanted to take within a 9-month period) on sunday the 11th. i think they said it takes about 5 days to process. it's now thursday the 15th and still no word — they sure like to take their time!

damn government workers i tell you..scum of the earth if you ask me.

i hear you have to make the NTS payment via snailmail? i'm planning on taking FAR at the end of January — i just hope they don't take too long to process as i imagine the seats are mostly filled already at Prometrics for January..

Oh well, just more time to study IT!

@moca – You should still be good to go for first week of January. The test centers usually have openings early in the window and you should be hearing any day now on your NTS.
