I week left before Audit, this will be my second attempt. Read Becker book, did MCQ and SIMs twice.

Please give me some advice on how to best utilize the last week. I have Ninja MCQ but haven’t practiced it yet. Thanks.

Do as many MCQ's as possible in your test bank. Don't rush through them. Work through them slowly and methodically. If you get a question wrong, don't move on until you understand why that question was wrong.

Don't waste any more time on the SIMS…do MCQ until you go crazy. Then do a few more. This is key.

Used Becker online. Who needs a text when you can burn your eyes out staring at the screen for months on end?

In my situation, the week before, I did around 800 NINJA MCQs, and review those I did wrong.

You should do questions you have not seen,so try the ninja test bank. Also, if you want to know if you are ready or not, you should work on the first 90 MC from Becker's famous final exam. If you have already taken it, how did you do?

I agree. Do the two Becker final exams and share your scores with us. If you get 70's, your probably on track.

Rewrite all the audit reports for any kind of audit/review/accounting service that is out there. Highlight the differences. Write down the differences on a separate paper. Write them down again. Keep doing that until you sit for the test.

Don't waste your time over memorizing complex ratios. Know your basics (turnover and return, one is sales or cogs/ XX and other is net income/XX) that is it.

Rewrite the reports. At least half of your test is going to be related to the reports.

Well, looks like I am down to my last few days. I figured I have completed nearly 8000 MCQ in Becker. Completed each of the sims twice. I'm knocking out progress tests each night in addition and tomorrow I take the first practice exam.

I'd swear I should (as others should) get a pass on effort alone. Wish me luck and I'll report back my Becker Exam 1 score in the morning. Thats usually how you can tell where you are before exam day.

@cbones Nice! It looks like you're on your way to pass the last part of the exam! I am two days out and am making my way though the last chapter of becker MCQ 2x. Haven't touched SIMS yet, may get around to reviewing them and going over the reports again. The only practice test I took in Becker was for REG I believe I did horrible, but I learned from it. Let's go in and pass AUD!

@cbones Thank you 🙂 going in a couple hours…just trying to re-study the unmodified report as I didn't completely memorize it word for word but know the flow. I'll probably post in the AUD exam experience thread when I get back, which will be about 6-7 hours from the time of writing this. It is my last section and I'm super nervous. I don't want to study anymore. Your scores look good and I'm sure you'll do fine. If it's like any of the other exams, studying harder or more wouldn't have helped me get a better score anyways. We will see! What are you worried about!? Your scores are super high!..now I'm expecting a 99 from you :p Good luck!!
