I'm in!! AUD rematch awaits on 4/7. 1 week from Satuday! In full review mode using ninja audio, ninja notes and wiley teset bank. How much should i prepare for the AUD sims and how do you all prepare for them?

@peanut – glad to hear your doing well with your preparation. have you focused in on a time to take the exam?> if you have time, i definitely suggest the Yaeger cram for AUD!

I was doing well yesterday, until something went down with my 7 year old. Let's just say she's in deep trouble and won't be going anywhere for the next week. Anyways, MCQs here I come!!

I just wanted to let you guys know that I am thinking about all of you guys and how hard you are workin. Can't wait to see your good news!! Kick butt this week.

Yankee! I miss you! The new job is going pretty well. The pay is great, and it's an 8:30-5 kind of job. You can literally hear people running for the door at 4:59 hahah. Which benefits me! I work my butt off all day long. I've been getting in a little over an hour in the morning before I start to work, and 1-2 hours after work. It's not ideal, but I am only studying for AUD, and it is my THIRD time studying for this. I LOVE GARY! I feel like he is having a conversation with me. I just watched an hour module that was all MCQ & SIMs, going over them in complete detail. He is great. Hopefully the boost that I will need. I still have not paid for my exam… I want to take it end of April. Only studying a couple/few hours a day might set me back. Last weekend I had family obligations, and the next two weekends I do too! =/ Again, at least this is my third time so I am pretty familiar with everything. I'm trying to look at the material like I have never seen it before. How are you!? How is the job, the teenagers, the hubby??

@Peanut : I am glad you like Yaeger…I used to use Becker and once I did Yaeger I knew it was much better for me!

@Jo how's the studying going?

Rematch with audit is one week from Saturday… i am in final review mode, pounding MCs and basically just go over each section making sure I know everything I should. A little worried about the SIMS but plan on using the research tab much more this time as per everyones advice… starting to get a little nervous, but also feeling ready to take this on again.

How is everyone's week going/studying?? Stay focused…that first window in April is fastly approaching Good luck to all!!!!!

Good Morning All!!!!! Ughhh, my motivation is slowly sinking as well Marivy22. Over the past couple of weeks, I have been keeping track of my scores on the progress test and my weak areas are Corporate Tax, Property, Commercial Paper, & Sales. UGHHH!!!! The others I have been at least making 75% or above. I have a little over 2 weeks before my REG retake and I definitely want to get those weak areas nailed down. I hope everyone is having a good week of studying so far.

Work has been crazy. I am really loving it. Learning alot beyond accounting more geared towards running a business. But funny because my job is kinda like yours….people are supposed to work 8:30 -5. Most people are out the door at 5! Funny because they stroll in 8:45 or nine. That is not what I am accustomed to in an accounting firm! But it is nice. Very low key corporate atmosphere. I have been balls to the walls on our audit of year end financials. Serendipity that the first major task I have is to work on is audit related. My arch enemy! But thankfully taking Audit 4x helped to keep things in my head…so it was music to my ears when the auditors gave us an unqualified opinion!! I (totally a geek) during the audit conference call did a fist pump when they read their report!! haha!

Bobby(sophomore in college) came home for a few days and finally cut his hair—he donated his hair to locks of love. But he surprised us with a piercing on his chin (Ok, I don't know what they call that!). But he is doing well in school and happy.

My hubby and youngest are doing well too. They are both sooo glad Mom is done studying.

Gramps is not so hot. He has pulled the fire alarm 3x at the facility…and constantly packs his clothes because he thinks he is leaving. Poor guy.

I am glad to hear you love Gary. I remember CPAman swore by him. You are in good hands. Also, glad to hear from you and that you are doing well. Sounds like you have a good system for studying while working. I am sending you good vibes this window!! GOOOO Peanut!!

I know how you feel. it is the last exam and you feel like you should be super gung-ho about studying but instead you feel blah. It sucks..but try to make yourself go through the motions, you are so close to the end. Then summer will be wide open!! find some gumption and make it happen!! buena suerte 🙂
