Woo hoo! I'm joining this fun party! Tonight, I have a date w/ Gov't & NFP! And all day tomororw as well! Please don't be jealous. 🙂 I am going to re-write my notes on those chapters and then make flashcards on all the big topics.

Definitely. Gotta finish up my last chapters of REG and leave at least a week for final review. It is both my dad and his girlfriend's birthdays this weekend so they have made plans for me on Friday and Saturday night….sigh…obligations. Then hitting the books hard and getting this out of the way so I can enjoy Memorial Day Weekend!

I am joining this party! I slacked this weekend so I really need to focus this week and move through my material. I have a field trip tomorrow for work so when I get there I should have a good 3 hours to study… on the clock :). Hoping this week brings accomplishments as Saturday I have a 12 hour commitment. I'm down for a power week! I took FAR last Thursday and that exam had me feeling pretty beat up so I'm coming back this week and determined to kick BEC's behind–I refuse to walk out of another exam feeling like I didn't leave everything I had at that computer!

So it is half way through the week…how is everyone doing? I haven't been able to do more than an hour or so at home this week due to long work hours for month end closed, but now that is done so I can work a few less hours every day for the rest of the week. With that being said, I am hoping to get in about 6-8 hours a day today through Friday, I have SO much material to still go through and only 3 weeks to go. I was thinking on my way into work today that if I just suck it up and make FAR my life completely for three weeks I can pass this, three weeks is nothing in the grand scheme of life…I can't even image what a wonderful feeling it would be to never crack open the FAR material every agian.

I hope all are doing well and good luck to all who are doing a mad cramming in these days, weeks to come before the end of yet another testing window!

@pacific, get through that material! 🙂 Leave as much time as you can for a final review that way you can really focus on those weak areas.

It's day 3 of studying for BEC and I made it through Corp. Governance and Performance Measures. I started Cost Accounting today and I'm ready to lose my mind—I feel like I know how to do these problems but I'm not used to doing them in the format that Wiley is giving me thus making them much more difficult to work through.I figured I would take at the very most one more day on this section and then just keep working the MCQs religiously while I'm studying the other sections. Have any of you taken BEC and was cost accounting heavily tested?

I am going to have a power week and weekend! The past two days at work were crazy because of month end but I busted my butt and got ahead of schedule so I plan to study 2-3 hours at work and another 1-2 at home. Then spend all day Saturday and Sunday at the library! So much to learn and such little time…

I'm hanging in there. I finally finished re-writing all my notes and I've been doing flashcards like mad. But there is nothing more humbling than doing a new set of multiple choice questions. <Sigh> I am trying to write down facts when i get a question wrong and that seems to be working.

All I know is I need to go big or go home. I have 11 days of prep left. It's go time.

I have not been doing so well this week. It's like I lost my mojo. But today, at the end of the day I found it. My reason why because I want to take my career to the next level and I feel like not having my CPA is holding me back. I am tired of working for certain types and I want to make a difference. I know I can do that with my CPA. So I found it and every time I get discouraged I am going to channel how I felt this afternoon into motivation for this exam. And once I pass and move on, I will show these older CPA's in charge that you can be a leader and get the goal accomplished, drive the business forward, motivate people through teamwork, who is compassionate, has a family and can be human to their people and also have a personality. And on that note, mojo back and NINJA attack mode for this mamma!
