Prometric site error?

    Hi guys.

    I am trying to schedule an exam on the Prometric website and everytime I fill the information I get this message: “Your session has expired. It is necessary for you to begin again.”

    I cleared cache, deleted browsing history, tried the latest Chrome, IE, and even installed Firefox just for this and still the same.

    I tried on my iPad(never accessed Prometric site with iPad), still the same.

    I don’t know if it’s my PC or the site that has the problem.

    If you have a spare time to see if you can access the site, I appreciate it!

    Whew … I thought I was going crazy, but I've been getting the same error message too. I'm trying to reschedule an exam and had no luck on my PC and Windows machine.

    @skyraptor

    Thanks. It's good to know I am not alone.

    I was going crazy too. I was working on this for 2hrs…

    I couldn't get motivated till I set the schedule.

    With ridiculous numbers of attempt, I finally got to the last page and registered.

    I just grabbed a day thinking that I will reschedule later, I just need to set a date, any day.

    Absolutely no opening on Saturdays in August…

    Now I can't even get to the calender page to see the opening. Same ‘ol error message…

    I always got this message on Chrome and IE. I uninstalled the latest version of IE and its worked only on there since.

    @CMaxwell

    You had to uninstall IE and Chrome? That's a bummer. Noone should go through this. It's been like this for at least a month(I tired to reschedule my exam before. took forever)

    I will call Prometric tomorrow if I can get through them. I don't know why anyone is wonedering the same thing.

    There are a LOT of people using Prometric for taking not only CPA exam but GRE and other exams…

    Well, I didn't uninstall chrome, just IE version 11 (I think). Earlier versions worked for me.

    I have been trying to schedule my cpa exam since 5/30/2014 and I still receive error message/your session has expired, etc. Today 6/2/2014, the website is still a mess…so frustrating

    My IE explorer must be outdated at home, and I have never been able to use it on Chrome, but I was able to get on at work. So if you are still having problems maybe check your internet explorer version? It may need to be updated.

    I've been getting the same error for a couple of weeks. When I finally caved and called, the lady I talked to said she hadn't heard of anyone else having website problems. Hmm!

    (not-so quite)UPDATE:

    I called the nearby Prometric, they told me that they don't handle technical issues, they gave me a 1-800 but it was a number for NASBA.

    I called Prometric's national customer center but coundn't to talk to a human being.

    After several attempt on their website and a couple of hiccups, I could finally reschedule my exam date.

    I guess you just have to keep trying, because it's all about persistence. Don't give up!
