I thought this was interesting– in my exam reminder email from Prometric, there was information about their Test Drive program where you can take a 30 minute dry run of test day. https://www.prometric.com/test-drive

It’s too bad that it costs $30, but it’s a great option for people with test anxiety to at least get to practice part of the uncertainties of test day at Prometric. Well worth it.

Is this new? Not widely publicized? This is the first time I’ve noticed that info.

I've never heard of it before but I don't think I'll have the patience to take a practice exam on exam day I'll be so fired up to just get right to the real thing lol

It has to be something new I saw it on my new NTS I received a few days ago… it cost $30!! lol seriously….like it isn't expensive enough!

Yeah, I was surprised they charge for it, but I suppose they have to cover their employee expenses for helping with the Test Drive.

I wonder how much of the fees and everything actually goes to Prometric when we test there. It's possible they don't make much money from us and most of it goes to NASBA and the AICPA.

Just bumping this up for early Q4 testers with anxiety about the test center.

I couldn't schedule FAR on a Saturday in November so I had to ‘settle' for 1/3/15. In my opinion, this is silly if they don't even have the open spaces for people needing to take tests during a window. My prometric location is crowded enough.

Everyone should just be jumping into the prometric pool instead of dipping their toes in the water anyway.
