I have been reading the NINJA notes over and over again…already about to finish my 5th time reading it. However I have never been able to grasp a part of it. What does it mean when a covered member disagrees with supervisor and the supervisors positions is still GAAP/GAAS. I don’t quite understand what its saying. Does it mean with the issue is dealing with a GAAP/GAAS issue or what? Please help NINJAS!!

I think it means that if you disagree with your supervisor on the way they handled something, but they still handled it following GAAP or GAAS, overall its okay, because the supervisor followed GAAP or GAAS (depending on the situation). If you disagree with the way they handled it and don' t think they followed GAAP/GAAS, then you need to report it to a higher level because they're not following professional standards.

Thanks! I was feeling pretty nervous, but sometime over the weekend I got a “I'm going to kick this test's ass” attitude and now I'm feeling pretty good! Good luck on the 12th!
