I am interviewing next week for two different positions at two different firms. One provides outsourced accounting services to small and mid-sized clients. The other offers accounting services to private equity funds. I am more interested in the one that works with small/mid-sized clients, but that’s because I don’t know a lot about dealing with equity funds.
I know this is only at the interview stage, and no one has offered anything yet, but I figured it couldn’t hurt to get some more information and opinions. I’m older, so getting in to get experience and move on is not my goal. I want to build a career and stay at a firm. So, if anyone has any thoughts on this, I’d like to hear them.
