    Hello-

I am planning to get through the application process later this year, and take FAR in the first testing window of 2015, if I do how does it work to study for it? If I buy 2014 materials will they be outdated for that window. I know the places that sell reviews will update them but I was wondering how I will be able to have enough time to study updated material if I want to take in January. Do they release new books etc prior to 2015 for this issue? I just want to make sure once I am ready to study for it I am studying the right materials. I also thought I read somewhere that even if changes are made to anything they will continue to test on 2014 material for a certain time into 2015, can’t remember where I saw that at though. Thanks to anyone who answers!

Most courses will have updated even before 2014 ends, but most of the changes are minor issues in my opinion. Your standard procedures will stay the same, for the most part. I have 2013 materials for Roger, but for the changes, I went through both my physical book and ebook during the lecture and jotted down any notes that were different.

I know for Roger at least that he uploads updated videos very shortly after the year begins, and offers a discount to current students on new books if you so choose to purchase them.

I ordered Becker 2014 materials in November 2013. Talk to a sales rep and they will make sure you're ordering what you need. They put my order on hold until 2014 materials were available because I told them that my first exam was not until Jan. 2014 and that 2013 materials would not be useful to me. Each review course will be different though.

@bronxbombers2 Thanks! I was looking at changes made and they didn't seem that major. I am looking to do Yaeger when the time comes for FAR because I have been out of school for about 6 years and their lecture videos appeal to me the most, in addition to buying the Ninja notes. I was also asking because I was thinking of buying a 2014 book for FAR not to study yet but just kind of browse, refresh my memory on what is covered so when I start studying I know what I am jumping into. I heard this section is the hardest so I want to get it out of the way. I figured for the rest of the sections I will have 2015 readily available to study.
