Question Regarding NY State Experience Requirment

    I worked in a small public accounting office part-time in New York under a NYS licensed CPA. I worked part-time Avg 25 hrs a week for almost 2 years and 8 months. Basic responsibilities included bookkeeping, preparation of quarterly sales tax and payroll tax returns, adjusting entries to prepare profit and loss for small business and passing it on to the CPA to file 1120S, also prepared few simple individual tax returns.

    My question is that is there a way I can find out prior to passing the CPA exam that I meet the experience requirement or not? Because if not, then I should start looking for a job in a CPA firm. I work at a consulting firm right now (not a CPA firm).
