Re-study of AUD (WTB & Roger) – how to keep track of progress?

This may be stupid question, but I am re-studding AUD now using WTB and they don’t allow to reset previous study session, so right now all question are shown as I have already answered then.

How do I restudy all of the MCQ and Sims and keep track of what I’ve done and what I haven’t looked at yet and what I got wrong, etc?

I thought of “Flagging” all questions I am doing this time around, but then I won’t be able to select “not flagged” questions. Flagging only those I get wrong? But I still won’t know if I hit all available questions.

This is beyond annoying to say the least.

Also, has anybody successfully used Roger Test Bank? It seems to not work well in keeping track of progress and is also annoying in how you select topics you want to work on. Any tips?

I really don’t want to purchase anything new while I still have these two available.

With WTB I do sets of 1 subject and try to keep doing them until I get my score at least mid-60's. I was aiming to get my average over 75, but I ended up with an average in WTB of 65 and scored an 80 on the exam.

I don't have to retake AUD but for the sections that I do, I like to flip through Roger's book and do the MCQ and sims at the end of the chapters because I feel like those questions are really good and help to refresh my memory. I'll read all the solutions, take some notes then go and do the WTB. I will rewatch some of the lectures on topics I'm really struggling with. I also supplement with NINJA notes and audio.

    FAR - 7/13 - 72, 11/13- 74, 2/14- 82!!! Best score ever (for me)!!!
BEC - 1/14 - 75!!! Perfect score! First Pass! YAY!!!
    AUD - 8/14 - 80!!!
    REG - 5/14 - 72, 10/14 - 66, 1/15 - 78 - DONE FOREVER!!!
I did 5 of the UNA and CPAExcel classes to earn units.

Thanks Steph. But how do I keep track of my progress second time around? That is the main question I am trying to figure out.

Keep a spreadsheet. It worked out well for me for FAR as I don't like how Wiley tracks progress anyway 🙂

there's also something motivating about entering in your own score, seeing it turn green (conditional formatting), and moving on!

I did a round of 10 MCQ for each topic to see where I stood, then started with the weakest ones and did new sets of 20 until I got 70% then moved on to the next weakest topic and so on. Then I did it over again going for 80%, and mixed in random sets of 30 to see overall progress

according to Wiley my average was a 68%, so doing it this way you get a better idea of how you're doing, and where you need to improve. The only thing that will suck I guess is not being able to set it to show you only new questions.

If you do end up deciding you need to purchase something new, I'd suggest Ninja TB since it's cheap. I haven't personally used one yet, but I've heard good things on the forums and it's only 40 bucks with a coupon code.

FAR - 89 (8/19/14) Wiley TB, Wiley Book, Books from School, Ninja Audio/Notes
AUD - 92 (10/14/14) Wiley TB, Wiley Book, Ninja Audio
BEC - 82 (5/8/15) Mostly Ninja MCQ, sprinkles of Becker lectures and Ninja Audio
    REG - (8/14/15)

@Iggy1985 Nice! I like the spreadsheet and your approach to the MCQ. Excel … here I come.
