I printed out the 1040 and used a Sharpie to write these mnemonics on the correct sections. I’m all about some visual aids.

    IRA

    Social security

    Unemployment

    Pensions & annuities

    Adjustments: SHIT IM ASS DOPE

(I don’t take credit for the profanity in this one, since I stole it from someone on this forum. Prosecute them, not me! I can’t help that this one is just kind of “unforgettable.”)

    Student loan interest

    Health savings account

    IRA

    Tuition & fees

    Interest withdrawal penalty

    Moving expenses

    Alimony paid

    Self employed health insurance

Anyone got anything better? Or in addition?
