I’m retaking REG 8/25 and this time around I purchased ninja notes, ninja MCQ, which came with BLITZ. Do you think ninja is a good way to prepare for REG or should I re-do Becker and focus on that primarily? Obviously the more the better, but if I’m on a time crunch due to work, which is the best route? Thanks in advance!

I would do three sets of 20 mcqs and just pick the ‘new questions' only option. Then look in the Summary tab and see what your average and trending scores are for each section. That will give you an idea of your weakest areas. You could then do a targeted approach by working on mcq's from select specific topics/areas where you are weak. Make sure you review after each mcq or after each set of mcq's –> thats key.

Hey CPA2BinCA, how do you choose the “new questions” option?

I'm through all Becker lectures/MCQ/Sims in 103 hours, and I still have another ~100 hours budgeted. I started to do Ninja MCQ, but I'm only scoring low 70's avg…so, I need to work on certain areas.

For the new questions, choose the Custom+Sims option (it's kind of on the top left when you're looking at the dashboard) and then you can choose the categories, the type of questions (all, new, missed last time, etc.), and how many questions.

I highly recommend the Ninja MCW for your REG retake. I did one section at a time and went through the questions un that section before going to the next section. Once I got through all the questions I did sets of 20 ot 30 randomly and let the interactive part choose for me. Then I only did my weaks areas with some refresher quizzes of the other stuff. Don't forget to practice SIMS as well.
