Hi. I was working with the Wiley test bank for the reg sims. In some of the sims on the individual section, I noticed there were questions where you had to fill out an actual form. Instead of showing you the actual form, they only included the number of the line of the form. So unless you had each line memorized of every form it will be very hard to get the sim right. I had two questions. Should I expect this to actually occur on the exam or will they show you the full form? Also is there a way to find what each form looks like in the research tab? I had little success finding it. Thanks

I know exactly which sim you're referring to cause I was thinking the same thing when it popped up on my screen! I looked through the research tab and didn't find any info at all either. I ended up having to google the form in order to complete the sim. When I'm doing a practice test, I just leave it blank and hope for a passing score w/o having to complete it.

I know every test is different, but from the two times that I've taken REG, I've never been asked anything like that.

Someone else posted this question too and I think it was unanimously advised that we don't need to know the line numbers on the forms. Wiley went out on a ledge with that one.

There r no forms to fill in the REG exam. However bear in mind all the simms in REG have blank data columns, wherein u have to punch in the numbers by urself. There r no drop down menus. Most difficult simms i ever encountered.

I contacted Wiley about this. They said it is an error in their software and it will be fixed in the next update. I asked when the next update was and all they would give me was “sometime this summer”… Have you also noticed getting a wrong answer because the answer has a comma in it but you are unable to input commas…freaking ridiculous.

Thanks for getting back to me everyone. I am using becker for reg as well. Are those sims comparable to the exam? I know business law makes up about 20% of the exam. Anyone see sims there

I've gotten a couple of these practice sims in WTB now, and there is supposed to be a picture that shows you the tax form. It just isn't loading correctly. So you can Google for the tax form, and problem solved.

I had the same issues with Wiley as well, but I didn't need to memorize the individual line items for the REG exam. Good luck!
