@mamabear don't get discouraged! I'm getting a little overwhelmed with all this info too, but I know it's only going to get harder when I get to the corp tax chapters. I loathed those classes in college!

You just have to hang in there. Think back to your other parts how it was all new in the beginning, but as you got closer and closer to test day, and kept practicing over and over, things started clicking. This is a long process. Right now it all looks like Chinese to us, but it will all make sense at the end…OK, fine, not all of it will make sense, but at least enough to PASS! 😉

I know it will get a little easier. I felt this way when I started FAR. I just wish my NTS wasn't expiring. It doesn't seem likely that I'll get all this info into my head in the next 41 days. At least a lot of the FAR material was somewhat recognizable. I took one tax class a few years ago and have never done my taxes so this REG stuff is just foreign. I'm going to keep pounding out the MCQ until I get through all 210 for individual tax. Hopefully by the end of that it will all start to come together. I'm already getting fairly decent with the concepts, above the line, below the line, itemized deductions, etc. so that's a plus. Thanks for the encouragement!

@Amay, what? I posted only 2 sentences and you gave me 3 pages long of lectures? LOL

Thanks anyway. I appreciate you taking time to research for me and reply to my post. (I saved it on my MS Word – documents.)

I think, I still have FAR hangover. I still couldn't get over with SCF, bond discounts/premiums, equity, etc.

And luckily, I still don't know my score yet, while others have already received their performance rating in the mail. It seems like our State Board office is located in a different planet.

@CPA Title–Have you gone through every MCQ in Ninja? How much time did you spend focusing on memorizing numbers/threshholds, etc versus learning concepts?
