REG Experience

    Hello fellow ninjas!

I took REG last week and I thought the MC were manageable, hopefully this is a good thing! Usually we start to doubt ourselves when some of the questions seems too easy. Instead of giving ourselves credit on taking those long hours to study we start thinking that we must have had many questions wrong and thus we got “easy” MCQ.

The content in the SIMS was not terribly difficult, what I found difficult was trying to remember the material ( I saw another ninja describe his experience recently too) it is impossible to remember everything.

One of the most important and successful study tips I can give you is to REWRITE REWRITE REWRITE your notes! It is time consuming but it pays off- I hope it pays off for me too!

Understand the material and don’t skip ANYTHING, as minimal as it may seem there is a reason why it is in the book.

Good luck! I will keep you posted and hopefully with a passing REG grade! Actually make that, I will pass!

Which book did you use for exam ? Beckers or Wiley. How would you rate the material in the wiley book.

I feel there is just a lot of detail in Wiley. I am scheduled for 30th May for Reg.

How long did the MCQ takes and how much time did you have for the SIMMS.

    Goodluck 🙂

    FAR - 81 29th Aug 2013
    AUD - 84
    REG - 82
    BEC - 89 29th Aug 2014

I just received my score in REG (82) this past Monday. The thing I remember the most about the exam is that the SIMs are very time consuming. As such, I think the key to passing is get through the MCQ quick enough so that you are not rushing through the SIMS. Good luck.
