At what point does it all start tie together and fall into place? I am at the beginning of FAR2, Cash and Equivalents. So far I have bits and pieces and a lot of “huh?” moments. I did well in my financial acc. classes, but it was many, many moons ago. So I’ve been taking notes and hoping for the best.

When will I see the light?

I didn't use FAR, but using Wiley, it didn't click till I'd studied through all of it and started drilling MCQs. So, don't get discouraged yet! 🙂

i am using rogers too, and i am doing it a chapter at a time till ..it is very frustrating a time consuming but i am sure it will work out at the end 🙂 let me know how its going.. may be we should do a roger far study group 🙂

Yes maybe we should have a Rogers FAR study group. I have just started as well and so far the first chapter I picked it up okay. Lets see how the others go 🙂 I do know for every CPA course it came together at the end once I had done all the chapters, all the question and was doing a review from start to finish again.

I am considering getting a Cram course for FAR.. will see first week of May how I feel.

It doesn't fall into place for me until like 2 weeks before the exam, sadly. However, I did well on my last three exams so there is hope! I always think I will NEVER get the hang of it or understand it and it scares me… but it works out ok.

I also study mainly with Roger, but use a lot of supplementary materials as well since I use 2012 books.
