Should I be studying?

I took FAR last week and hopefully that was my last one, fingers crossed. I won’t get my score until Wednesday of next week. Should I have the mindset that I failed and start studying for it again starting now, or wait until I get my score?

I have 2 more windows to pass FAR before AUD and BEC will expire. I think my exam went pretty well and I gave myself a real chance at passing as I didn’t walk out of the test center discouraged.

I’m just worried about timing in the event that I failed. Busy season is approaching quickly 🙁 and I will want to take it again in the middle of January before things ramp up; losing 9 days of study time could hurt. What do you guys think? Obviously, I just want to be done and never look have to look at a Becker book again.

    FAR - 70, 81
    AUD - 83
    BEC - 77
    REG - 70, 78

Now what the hell do I do?

Take it easy and try to enjoy the next couple of days.

I'm in the same boat for REG, except for the expiring credits part. With the past 3 exams, I always dove right in to the next one and didn't have time to worry whether I'd passed the previous section. Now I'm climbing the walls trying to distract myself for the next couple of days to keep myself from trying to do the math on whether I did well enough on the sims to pass.

And yes, I've created multiple spreadsheets to break down what I needed to get on each sim to pass, based on how I felt about each MCQ testlet and sim.

    AUD - 91
    BEC - 85
    FAR - 91
    REG - 92

@MC – I was in the same boat – waiting for two parts.. and I was positive I failed Auditing (I came out crying), and I felt ok with REG, but not great. However, I didn't study, I enjoyed my 10 day stay of freedom.. it had been so long since I had been able to just come home and do whatever I wanted to. Enjoy the time… worry about it if the time comes.

If you're like me and going to spend > 1 hour per day obsessing over whether you should or shouldn't be studying use the time to study instead of worry.

If you're like a normal person and can move past a fleeting thought of “maybe I should be”, don't waste your time with studying.

Do not waste any more time studying than you have to. Just enjoy your time until the score release. Worst case is you have to study in December and take it before you get too busy in January. And if that doesn't work, take it at the end of May after busy season. But I bet you'll pass this time.

Congrats on almost being done and for sticking it out.
