Tomorrow is my first test and I want to make sure I dress properly…

I don’t want to be like that guy who wears jeans to a wedding…

lol, yoga pants all the way for me: (1) my #1 concern is comfort, and (2) it amused me when the ladies wanted to check my pockets and I didn't have any.

I wear sweatpants and a t-shirt and flip flops. Nothing with pockets and no socks since they make you turn out all your pockets and show your ankles to make sure you aren't hiding any cheat sheets. my check in process takes 2 minutes if that. Makes it much easier to take a bathroom break if needed.

You do realize that you are in a room with people testing to become fork lift operators, right? There is no dress code.

    Dude!?!? Wear whatever!

I once showed up with a sweater that was encrusted with bark because I spent my morning prior to testing chopping firewood.

Unless wearing a suit gives you some mad confidence, definitely skip it! Most of the people I tested with this past weekend looked like they just rolled out of bed.

I wore jeans and a sweatshirt but if you're the type of person who psychologically feels they perform better dressed for business wear the suit. I guarantee you'll be the only one dressed up but who cares?

i try to look good for all the hot cpa, cfa, series 7, hot babe test takers. because if i cant make it maybe my potential significant other, who i meet at a prometric, could. lol, of course not. unless you are coming from work, i could understand work casual clothes. besides that most are in sweat pants, dare i say granny sweatpants and they all look stressed out.

No suit!! Definitely go for comfort. I always wore jeans, tshirt, sweatshirt and sneakers. Can't imagine sitting through that exam in a suit. I would have preferred sweatpants, but I typically ran errands after I was done.
