Howdy,

I know that this question might be best asked of my State Board (Ohio) but it’s Saturday so I won’t have a chance to ask until Monday.

Has anyone else sent an experience form to an old boss for their signature and submitted a scanned copy of the form (with their signature)? Or do the Boards, generally, want the original inked copy of the form?

I FINALLY found an old supervisor form my time with a financial institution to sign off on my experience and I want to make sure I give her the correct information to minimize any confusion and just get the experience form back. For those wondering, it’s been a couple of years and a number of my supervisors moved on, were relocated or let go. The one “sure thing” supervisor would have been happy to do it but she’s in Europe right now and won’t be back for a couple of weeks. She said she’d sign it when she got back but I want to get my paperwork done sooner than later.

In Ohio it has to be original signature for candidate and verifying CPA. And if boss that is not a CPA signs experience original signature for that too.

Thanks. That's what I was afraid of.

It's been a nightmare finding someone at my old company to sign my form. I left on good terms but it's been a couple of years. I finally found an old supervisor who is willing to sign the form though. I just wanted to make sure I give her the correct information the first time so I can put this behind me.
