Should I schedule FAR before the Sept blackout and start studying now, or plan for early Oct? I’d like to get an exam under my belt before the end of fall hiring.

FAR is the biggest section, I would take it in October.

If you want to finish something before September I would go with Audit or BEC as they are much smaller sections.

Agreed. But if you can study full time and/or are already really good at journal entries and T accounts, you may be able to squeeze FAR in this window. It's a tough sell.

    AUD 84 (1/9/14-Wiley books/TB + free materials)
FAR 83 (5/21/14-the above + NINJA 10 Pt Combo Lite)
    REG 84 (7/9/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC/Notes)
    BEC 76 (10/5/14-Wiley books/TB + NINJA Audio/FC)

Me, I'd take it. If you fail, take it again.

I have far scheduled for the 30th. I got really sick last week so I wasn't able to study. I think I'm going to still take it and just do mcqs for the next 28 days. Good luck! Let us know what you decide. The pass rate in q3 vs q4 is drastic. That's why I think taking it now is worth it.
