    Hey All,

I was just curious to know what i should do during a snow storm and i have an exam schedule? I live in the NY area and they had a huge snowstorm for these past 2 days. They are predicted 2 more storms. Do i call up prometric to find out if the testing location is open? Or do they notify me? I just want to be prepared because another 2 storms are being predicted and i have my exam coming up soon.

    Thank you!

Jeff is pretty good at reporting Prometric closures when they are announced but it doesn't hurt to fire off an email or phone call to your local board office. Good luck on your exam!

Prometric will update all closings on this website:

Be sure to check it often as they sometimes add closings at the last minute.

Last time I asked, they said that unless the city where your Prometric is located issues a Level 3, you must report to the center, no matter what your situation Lol. I thought that was pretty harsh, given that my city was talking about issuing a Level 3, so I would probably be arrested if I went out driving with the roads closed..Lol. These are some of the rules I'm hoping Prometric/AICPA would reconsider.

mystical, it sounds like whoever you asked was talking specifically about that one particular testing center. As you can see by the link I posted, prometric centers close by the dozens when the weather is dangerous. I have no idea what a “level 3” is but if its the same as a driving ban, my prometric has closed often without one.
