I am so happy that the 15th has come and gone. I was at work until almost 9:00 last night.

Finally … it will give me at least a little more time to study for my last section. Everyone have a great rest of the week!

Haha! My firm is a little weird in that we do all business returns. So I have been slow all week. Somehow left my phone at home today though.. But I guess I will be able to get some good studying in, too.

Yes, I am glad the 15th has passed too. I still have ONE tax return on my desk but I'm waiting on more info from the client. Not my fault he waited until late Friday to finally bring his stuff in!! GRRRR I will never understand why people wait until the last possible minute to get stuff done. Drives me crazy.

OMG – don't even get me started! lol – we have a continual running box that is almost always full with clients who haven't “gotten around” to it yet. At least all except a few are done for this year, over here where I am. Looking forward to a much quieter day today than yesterday was! Thinking of taking a long weekend just to let my head rest a bit and to get a jump-start back into FAR.

Now if only this downpour would ease up!

I am industry and and very glad to see the 15th go also. after working crazy hours may-sep15 on the fed return we get roped in by the SALT people to do their state returns for the 30th and oct15…very glad to see that come and go….now is the slow time till dec! wohoo for 6 straight 40/45hr weeks!!

We'll do the same – normal working hours until about mid-December. I may actually get to eat dinner with my husband for a few months. 🙂 We have a few hundred businesses we have to start processing for year-end by mid-December, at the latest. After that, it'll all break loose around here!

We are in prime audit season right now too. I have two audits in process, and three waiting on me. So I have to stop audits in order to get back in tax mode. NOT FUN!!

That's what's rough – having to stop in one main area to tend to another area. We're actually in the middle of training in a few different departments so it has people a little scattered and it's causing me to go back and forth from one area to the other, as well. You have my complete sympathy, Tax Lady. It is a total pain.
