    Hi All,

I have my first exam in January of next year. I am taking Auditing first since I worked as an auditor for over two years. I am using Becker, and Ninja Supplemental flash cards and notes.I listen everyday the Ninja Audio and I think it is a great tool.

It is pretty hard for me to make time to study since I have two little kids, a wife, and a full time job. I guess, that many are in my same situation.

I will just need strength and self confidence to go on with the long hours of study, since at the end I know that everything will payoff.

The best of Another71 for me is that I get to relate myself to others in my same situation. I need to have trust in myself , I know that I can do it.

Please wish me luck in my journey.

Good luck! I am in the middle of the journey taking my 3rd test tomorrow. During “the journey” I have had my two toddlers wanting their mama, having a newborn (took a test at 37 weeks pregnant….talk about horrible) and studied with a nursing newborn and started back to work full time. It has been a struggle for the WHOLE family as my kids miss me and my husband misses the help that having young children takes. I know all of this studying and being away from my family will pay off in the end. I keep telling my oldest that I can buy him more toys when I pass the test b/c I will get a raise! 🙂 GOOD LUCK!

    FAR - 82
    AUD - 79 (lost credit), 75
    BEC - 76
    REG - 91

Thank you all for your support and kind words. I know that I am not alone in this journey.

When my daughter was born, I was still working on my associate, and I was going to night school. I went through all my college classes at night while my daughter was growing big, now she is seven, and my little boy 16 months old. I saw the results of my hard work because I was able to get a decent, and respectable job after graduation.

I know that my hard work, will be paid off, and I will certainly pass that teaching to my children.

    Thanks again to all…..

All the luck in the world to you! I am fortunate to not have a spouse and/or kids to balance my time with, but definitely have other family and friend obligations and do a fantastic job of just getting in my own way. I remember passing my first exam, though, and suddenly realizing just how real it all was. Savor that moment – and every pass for that matter – because this whole process is complete insanity. But it is so, so so so so worth it, and you will not regret one minute of it after you pass the entire exam, get your paperwork in and finally see the day when you can call yourself a CPA!
