    1. Start exercising, take more walks/ be more active – maybe get back to tennis (lose all the extra pounds I’ve gained since starting this process).

    2. Train for one of those fun runs like the Warrior Dash and complete with hubby and friends.

    3. Donate blood on a regular basis.

    4. Volunteer at animal shelter.

I’m sure there will be more to be added to my list. What’s on yours?

Well i know everytime I finish an exam I go out for lots of beers. After I am finally done all four I will:

    -Take a nice vacation

-Watch a couple movies every week

-Use my new found ability to read and make it enjoyable (sports books probably)

-Speaking of sports, be able to watch them regularly again

-Go out to dinner with friends when they ask me

-Help my family out more instead of saying “maybe next week, i have to study”

    -Burn my cpa books…payback

@supervisor…..I treated myself to the 50 Shades books as a reward for studying every evening.

Having just finished this journey officially last week, I say keep some fun in your life. I managed my time so that I could go out once a week, attend college football games this fall and even talk a long weekend (4 days) so I could watch said college football 3 weeks before FAR.

If you have a a study plan that you can stick to, I highly recommend building in time to have a sense of normalcy in your life.

Good luck to everyone. I hope to read about your success stories in the near future.

Resa, thanks. Its hard to be normal but I do manage to visit my mom once a week so she can see my son. However, visiting my mom is almost like a family reunion every time. I have seven siblings so the visits always turns into a party. Yes, seven!!. My parents are old school asian peeps so in their generation, 6,7,8 or more kids is normal. Anyway, sometimes I try to avoid visiting my mom so that I dont get stuck talking with the siblings until the early morn and then not being able to study the next morning. I feel bad if I dont wake up and study at 4am. *sighh… Its a sacrifice for now which I am sure when I look back at it, I will be glad that I did it! Sixteen months and counting…hopefully, this last retake is it!

am allowing myself this weekend (after REG test today) to relax and do some xmas preparation.

surprisingly, the simple act of going grocery shopping for my family (after the test) was fun/relaxing. although didn't allow myself too much time to meander since i wanted to get back home and CLEAN! yikes, what this test has done to me…

AnnaMay84, I'm also Filipina, born in P.I. but raised in Guam. Now I live in Louisiana.

Once I'm done with the CPA exam I would love to:

    – Draw closer to God

    – Read more Christian books

    – Work out again

    – Go back to work

    – Go on a mission

    – Clean my house

    – Pamper my dear husband…who pretty much would like me to reconsider moving on if I don't pass my last test by the time my first expires….he's been waiting patiently to be my baby again and get my undivided attention.
