So I took FAR today. Felt ok about all the MCQ- certainly got harder and stayed hard.

Got to the sims. Wasn’t a huge fan of them anyway-but to be fair its stuff I should have known without needing to shuffle around so much.

More to the point however- my bloody computer had to be RESET FOUR TIMES. I lost about 20 minutes total. The lady in the test center documented the issue and was apologetic, but ultimately couldn’t do anything about it.

For those of you that have had extensive computer issues and contacted the powers to be- did you get resolution other than “Sorry about that”? I’m so dejected and frustrated right now that I’m not sure I want to bother if I won’t actually get some help. I had quite a bit to complete/fix on two of the SIMS- and I’m pretty sure neither was a pretest question. So I’m pretty sure this will result in a fail- which is super frustrating since I actually would have felt marginally ok about it had I been able to make the fixes.

When I took FAR my computer froze and had to be reset once, however the time resumed from when it had frozen so I hadn't lost any time. I believe in these kinds of situations if you contact NASBA the most you will be able to get in this kind of a situation is a free retest.

Thanks. Once they reset the test it did start where it left off. However the first time it took them 5 minutes to come over when I raised my hand… She said she thought I was stretching. LOL. Then they were messing with it without just doing a reset. Becuase it kept happening they didn't want to just keep resetting the computer. She did note the time lost in a report.

I will contact them tomorrow. $hit happens but if I have to take it again a free retest would be nice.

I remember I took FAR and the power went out so every computer shut down. I freaked out for a second worrying that i would lose my time but no. It started right at the time my computer shut down. It was nice for me because I could go to the restroom without losing any of my test time.

I think you'll do fine.
