Three 72s on three sections – spreading out test dates

I knew it may have been a bit much, but I thought I spread out my studying time right. I took Audit on 10/03, BEC on 10/30, and Reg on 11/28 and got 72s on all of them. I have already been studying for AUD and am taking that 1/3/15. I’d like to take REG and BEC before the end of February. Any thoughts of when to take these before tax season gets too crazy?

    AUD - 75 1/3/2015
    REG - 4/30/16
    FAR - 7/2016
    BEC - 6/6/16

My strategy is to stick with one test until I pass it. I had to re-take both REG and BEC. For REG, I spent 2 weeks studying for my retake and for BEC, I only spent 1 week studying for my re-take. I passed both the second time. The material was really fresh, so I didn't see the point in hopping around.

Honestly I can't see any good reason to take three exams in one window unless someone is unemployed with nothing but time on their hands. Take one per window during busy season and no more than 2 during a window that your workload is manageable.

    FAR- 77
    AUD -49, 71, 84
    REG -56,75!
    BEC -75

Massachusetts CPA (non reporting) since 3/12.

I took four in one cycle after taking three months off to study for them. Failed three.

I started working again (as planned). I re-took all exams in the following cycle. I passed all of them.

It was really about the way I adjusted my study patterns/schedule. It's certainly not ideal to do so much at once but it's doable. Are you willing to spend every waking moment buried in the CPA material? Multiple exams in one period might be okay. But you really REALLY just have to consider it.

Failing exams actually probably helped me the most because I got familiar with every aspect of the exams at that point (such as format and the ineffective aspects of using Becker to study, etc.). But everyone's different.

I can't imagine studying for 2 at the same time, let alone 3. You guys are nuts!

Best way is to take one in the begining of the window and a second one at the end of the window. If you take one per window you're at high risk to exceed your 18 months. I don't recommend studying for two concurrently though, just back to back. You can't juggle too many things at once.

    FAR - 71, 68, 74, (8/31/14) 78 ✔
    REG - 67, 71, 71, (10/18/14) 78 ✔
    BEC - (11/29/14) 86 ✔
    AUD - 73, (4/4/15) 86 ✔

I can't believe this is over! 2 years and 3 months..
