I rescheduled my test for Dec. 7th, because I thought it can’t hurt to have a ‘free’ look at the test (yes, I realize I changed my mind from my previous post!), so, in two weeks, what the hell do you study for the most with FAR? I feel like I have a pretty good grasp on F1-F4. I am finishing up F5 today. Anything that is really important I should focus on? I know it’s crazy, but I figure I can take a shot in the dark and maybe get lucky. I can spend two days on each remaining chapter. If there’s anything I can skip from here on out, let me know…thanks đŸ™‚

Governmental and Not For Profit are good choices.

I agree with Faintear, Gov't and Non-Profit is a big time target for extra study in the time leading up to exam. You should also make sure you know bond premium and discount amortization. Good luck!!

    FAR - 81
    REG - 75
    AUD - 85
    BEC - 79

Thank goodness it's over... Now on to the next step...

I agree with Gov and NFP. These are a good chunk of the exam .I also suggest focusing on non-monetary exchanges and Cash Flow calculation.

Lastly, make sure you have the easy topics down like bond amortization, basic journal entries, and capitalized interest.

To me, those are some of the big chunks of points on the exam.

NIU CPA Review Correspondence is awesome!

I passed all four sections on the first attempt

Thanks everyone! I don't hold out much hope, but I figure it can't hurt just to take it and see how I do and how to better prepare for taking it next quarter like I planned.

For what it's worth I took FAR on the 12th and Gov & NFP was barely touched. I had a few MCQ's on it but that was it. Nothing on SIMS. My test definitely leaned toward inventory, PPE and SE. (both MCQ's and SIMS). Good luck!!

Nonmonetary exchanges are the bane of my existence. Therfore I know they will probably be on my exam. =/

Don't forget to consider key IFRS differences…

    BEC - 85
    FAR - 72, 80
    REG - 79
    AUD - 81

Used only Becker. Let the book burning begin!
