So my question is mostly about the time frame out from separating from the military that I should start apply for positions.
Here is my situation. I am currently working on my MSA through CSU Sacramento which offers some recruitment opportunities, but mostly they are on-site events. I am stationed in the UK so that means that I won’t be able to attend any until I’m on terminal leave which won’t be until September. I want to work for one of the Big 4 if possible as it seems that it would be good for my career and I think I would like Public accounting, or possibly government accounting, hopefully auditing. I want to start applying for jobs now, but I don’t know the best approach for my situation as I am relatively far out from the time I would be able to start working, which is October. Should I wait until I’m closer to start applying for positions or would it be better to just completely wait till I can get to some of the on-site campus events? Thanks for the help!
