So I just got out of my interview with Eide Bailly lasted 24 minutes. I would say it went relatively well. I would give it A 7 out of 10 because there was a lot of programs I had no experience with when she was asking but I’m still and have a lot to learn and experience to gain. I wi receive feedback by next Wednesday. I hope I have it man.

One day I will face that exam.

Sorry for all of the typos I was writing from my phone. But anyway oh it wasn't an in person interview it was over the phone. She pretty much told me that I will hear from her next Wednesday and we will go from there. From the reviews on Glassdoor.com, they were stating that the initial interview is conducted over the phone then the second one is in person and that is where I will find out for sure if I got the job.

Some key points that make me think I am a finalist are the questions I asked she mentioned “oh that's a good question” when I mentioned my salary expectations she exclaimed “perfect..that is right on the money” and lastly she asked me to rate my experience with Adobe reader on a scale of 1 through 5..5 being the highest and I said yeah I would give it a 4..then I second guessed my self after an awkward silence and said nevermind make it a 3 and she started laughing. But like i said I think it went well.

It was my first interview with not only a firm but over the phone. oh well guess I just have to wait and see…

One day I will face that exam.

Phone interviews are hard, but I think almost everyone does them now. I have been interviewing with a bigger sized accounting firm for about a month! I had two interviews so far. I have kept in contact with the recruiter, the last thing she told me was that she heard good things about my interview with the senior manager and would let me know the next steps.

Both interviews were over the phone, The senior manager was from across the country! lol.

I think that with that type of response that you should feel good about getting an in office interview. But, if you don't, just keep trying. The right opportunity will come along at the right time.

Good luck to you man. Just don't take it too hard if it doesn't work. I've been on interviews where I thought I got good feedback or had a good feeling about it but I ultimately didn't get the position.
