What is the ethics exam like?

    I’m not looking for specifics here, but if you have already taken it, I want to know how long you studied, how well you did, did you think it was easy/hard, etc. I’m antsy to take it as soon as my last exam is over.

    Virginia. I thought all ethics exams were the same, put out by the AICPA.No?

    Don't think so…I think the CA one is different because it includes CA-specific test questions.

    The AICPA ethics exam is uniform. In WA you have to take the AICPA ethics exam and WA ethics exam.

    They both took me a little over two hours each. I used the book instead of the cd for the AICPA exam, because I heard so many people were having issues with the CD. It can be a little difficult to interpret what they're looking for, so there's a lot of reasoning you have to do for most questions. I passed on the first try, but barely, with a 93%
