I have passed two exams. On February 4th, I applied for my NTS. STILL haven’t heard back. I think it’s taking longer than it did when I first applied. What the heck?

February 4th was the first wave of scores releasing. I suppose they were really busy last week. 🙂

    REG - Aug 30,13 Pass

It might be worth calling someone since it's not your first NTS. I applied for my BEC NTS 2/5 about 3pm, and my NTS was in my inbox the next day by 7:15am. I'm in CT – IDK if some states take longer than others.

Go on the website maybe you can print it from there. I know one time i didn't get any emails or anything and after waiting two weeks I went online and it was there the whole time for me to print.

Still haven't gotten it. I called NASBA and they said it has been processed but I still haven't received an email nor can I reprint it on the website.

Don't know what the holdup is. I live in Ohio, so no snow delays.

I applied to take the CPA exam on 12-13-14, and I just got my NTS a few days ago on 2-11-13. So sometimes, it can take a while.

@stephw4763 I'm in ohio as well and last time I applied I received the email within two days. Here is the link for the reprint, give it a try.

This is the 3rd business day in a row that I have called about it and I am getting the same answer- that I will receive it within 24-48 hours.

They told me that I was “approved” so to say- so it isn't NASBA's fault, they say that it is the “system” that is taking forever to send me the NTS.

    *sigh*

Thanks for your help. Like I said, last time it took me less than a day to get my NTS, so I have been concerned that there was a problem with my application or something. But it seems to be slow on their system.

Hm. Well I think I have discovered the problem. Me and my twin brother are in the process of taking the exam. We have very similar names. They have combined us into one person!! I have passed two parts, my twin has passed the other 2 parts I haven't. So they thought I was a CPA!

I love how it took talking to 4 different people at NASBA to get to the issue.

Wow! That's crazy. And now you're going to have to send them every form of proof under the sun showing who you are. When I first applied I sent them my correct birthdate and they typed in into the system wrong (I even had a copy of my original application that showed the correct date). Even though it was their fault I had to send copies of both my birth certificate and drivers license to get it corrected.

Ridiculous considering how militant they are with us when it comes time to actually taking the exam!

I am going to rant for a minute. How much crap do we have to go through to take this exam? Let's think. We need two forms of identification, fingerprints, medal detectors, get our pockets checked, can't wear sweatshirts, cannot use paper and pencil anymore, and more that I am probably forgetting.

And they can't keep track of 2 twins?

You have to be kidding me.

And FOUR NASBA people to figure this out.
