Will Internships Fullfill the Experience Requirements?

I am currently doing an Audit co-op at Baker Tilly. I just started last week and it will finish in December. Afterwards, I have an internship lined up at PwC in Tax, so I won’t be taking classes this upcoming school year. After the internships, I plan to return to school to finish my studies, then study for the CPA Exam. I currently have 138 semester hours so I have about 12 more to go.

Anyway, I just wanted to know whether or not these internships will fulfill the 2,000 hour experience requirement for the CPA License.

They should be applicable. The best source is your state board.

Some states require the experience to be after completing your Bachelors and/or after completing your educational requirements. So, depending on whether you've finished your degree and how your state views the experience relative to the education, these may or may not count.

However, internships are eligible in most states, if you've met the required education to have your experience be counting (I think some states don't even have a pre-experience education requirement).
