Actually thought I did WELL on REG sims?

My first Reg exam I was thinking the same as 99% of test takers. These SIMS are ridiculous and I want to be as far away from the exam as I can lol.

Second attempt they weren’t bad but I wasn’t prepared for what was being asked.

This time I felt like I had good knowledge on all topics tested. Thinking back and looking some answers up, I think I got 5/6 almost 100% right. Although I have terrible luck and I never like to give myself hope that I passed because I’ve gotten a 72 and 74.

Anyone ever get an exam where you think you did well on REG sims?

I think it's so hard to guess how you did, but curious to see how everyone actually does.

I'm in the same boat. I passed AUD, BEC, and FAR. I took REG back in 2012 and got a 74. I took REG on June 10th and got a 72. Now my retake is this Saturday, and AUD expires on 10/31.

On my first attempt, I thought I did great on the sims, and the second time, I knew I bombed the sims.

With these exams, you never know. I'm praying that you passed, and that I'll pass Saturday as well.

    AUD - 83
    BEC - 79
    FAR - 77
    REG - 90
CMA Part 1 - 360 (Barely made it but I made it)
CMA Part 2 - 360 (Made it by the skin of my teeth)

    REG - 74, Retook 6/10/16, scored a 72 (Hate this exam)
    BEC - 69, 79, 8/1/15
    AUD - 83, 4/4/15
    FAR - 77, 2/27/16

Did I think I did “well?” No… but I left feeling like, if I didn't pass, I certainly wouldn't know how to. I answered every SIM with some prior knowledge and they all had that tricky “one extra thing” element that the AICPA likes to throw in there to separate the elite. I probably didn't get those things right, but I got the gist. 82. Now I wish FAR felt the same way! I feel so lost.

@roadwarrior Same here! I honestly don't remember anything about the mcq anymore. I think I did well maybe besides BLaw. But SIMS I at least knew how to do everything and, while reviewing my SIM answers, felt I got them correct. But noticed in almost every sim there was a part that would trip the average candidate up if you aren't on your A game. I could at least identify those trip ups. Now if I got them right remains to be seen haha.

I think I worry when I see people post that they think they did terrible and passed and vice versa. But I feel if you feel terrible and failed or feel great and passed there would not be a good reason to post on this site about it.
