Anyone have any tips for how they prepare for the SIMS on FAR.

for both far and audit I didn't do any simulation practice until the week leading up to the exam. This might seem odd but I spent 3-4 weeks nailing down MCQ's and concepts the best I could. Then the final 7 days, I went through the Becker Final Review software and went straight to the solutions for both MCQ and SIMs. I read the question, read the answers, and then read the solution to mentally work through the how's and why's. Only the ones I knew I wouldn't be able to reason through at the test center did I actually work out on paper.

At that point I had all of the information in my head, it was just about looking at a different way it could be presented. Also, the SIMs on the actual exam seemed to have more detail and required more searching (and time), but were not necessarily any harder, in my opinion.

Might not work for everyone, but it's how I took all 4 of mine. So far so good on far and audit. Pending results on bec and reg (which I felt less prepared for than Far/Aud)
