It used to be about 3 months. Anyone know if that’s changed? Thanks!

Does anyone know what “waiting on your education” in terms of the application process means? I just sent my transcript overnight yesterday to the office of professions. Does anyone know how much longer this can possibly take from this point? Let me know, thanks!

I would assume it could/will take forever from this point.
I think they need your education reviewed prior to your file moving along, so figure an additional 16-20 weeks from when they receive the transcripts?

I could be way off on this.
When did you send in your application?

@lexus423 – Thanks for the info. I can safely say, I won't be licensed until late Jan 2018 or early Feb 2018 since I submitted mine in Oct. At this rate, it seems like the people who applied in Sept 2017, will be licensed in late Dec 2017 and early Jan 2018.

@KC22 I agree. You would think they would figure out a way to streamline this process especially when most things are computerized now.

CPABD@nysed.gov This is the email to ask about the current date of applications. Please post here if you receive any updates on dates. Maybe we can ask weekly to keep everyone in the loop.

I think the Sept applications will take a while since a lot of people submitted their applications once the score was released on Sept 19. The amount of applications will be vastly different from the summer since many people were delayed with the releasing of scores. However, I think all the applications that were submitted in Sept will be likely licensed before 2017 ends. Not too confidently about the Oct's applications.

Man, I think the NYS must hate us for the constant calling and emailing to follow up on our applications. HAHAHA

@ tsetse1314 I don't think September applications will have a license by year end. I submitted all forms on 8/24 and the application was forwarded to the CPA Board for review on 9/18/17. I was told it would take 16 weeks which is January 2018. I wish it would be in 2017.
