Hi, I am taking REG in the first week of January and I just completed R6 (using Becker). I have roughly one week left until my exam and I haven’t even started R7 and R8 (or my final review). I am not sure how to best use my last week of studying.

Should I still go through R7 and R8 even if it makes up less than 20% of the exam? Since on exam day, anything can pop up. Or go back and start reviewing the past chapters? My understanding of R1-R5 is okay since I have been consistently reviewing it. It’s okay, but there are definite areas where I can sharpen my knowledge.

I also have the Becker Final Review for REG so I was thinking of using it to review the big parts of R7 and R8. But I don’t know how good it really is.

Can anyone recommend me a course of action for my last week of studying? Would really appreciate the help!

I didn't use Becker, so I don't know what R7 and R8 cover, but I'll ask you this: Do you feel like you can give up 20% of the points on your exam and still pass?

I'm aware that it's not a true 20%, given that you can make educated guesses, but I'm talking about worst-case scenario.

I think you should try to cover as much of those last chapters and at least give yourself a chance at making educated guesses. Then MCQ like your life depends on it.

I would definitely review R7 and R8, but do it quickly. Spend one day on each which will still give you time to review other chapters. You just don't want to risk the chance of being heavily tested on R7 and R8 and being completely screwed. Even if you go through it once quickly it will give you at least a chance of choosing the right answer. The good news is it is extremely rare to get a sim on those chapters.

    AUD: 62 [2/27/15], 87 [5/29/15]
    REG: 76 [5/1/15]
    BEC: 86 [7/20/15]
    FAR: 76 [8/28/15]

    DONE!
