PASS! I Finally Beat Audit

Hello everyone!! I hope everyone had a chance to take a break from studying to enjoy their Thanksgiving in one way or another. I know I did!!

On Thanksgiving Day, I had a chance to spend most of the day final reviewing with FAR. Then I spent the remainder of the day spending time with my very supportive family.

Early this week I was one of the blessed ones. I received a passing score for Audit!! Finally!!! The one section I struggled with this whole journey. I finally beat my beast!!

Now that I have REG and AUD behind me, I’m working on getting my FAR & BEC credits back. My first step came on Friday with sitting for FAR. All I can say is that was the hardest exam I’ve ever seen. I’m just hoping it was a good sign and I scored at least a 75.

I’m not planning on taking too much of a study break since my motivation and determination is sky high. I might as well run with it!!

During these past few months I’m made two studying areas in my house. One is in my living room, so when my girls are quiet and watching TV or playing I can nail out some videos or MCQs. My other studying area is in my bedroom, where I can lock myself and have peace and quiet.

Well now with Christmas coming up I have to make room for the Christmas tree and move the studying area in the living room. I may move it into the kitchen, that way I can still keep an eye on my girls while grabbing some studying time.

It is just amazing the little things we do to find the time to study. Studying has become one of my top three priorities. The other two are my girls, of course, and my job. In a way, I feel like studying has become another full time job. Maybe it’s because I’m so close I can feel it.

I’ve already have my education and my experience. Now I’m working on the final piece of the puzzle, passing the exam without having any parts expire.

Well good luck everyone who’s in the final stretch of this testing window, you can do it. If I can, you can. Time for me to decorate for Christmas then hit BEC straight on!!!

Good Luck!!

JoMarie

CONGRATS!!! What an awesome feeling huh? Audit was a big obstacle for me, and I too lost 2 credits b/c of it. This year I finally passed AUD and got my REG credit back. I have 3 down, BEC to go. We're going to be CPAs SOON!!
