So what I had hoped would be a good time to take on round two has turned out to be quite busy.

The summer has come and gone, and I didn’t make much progress on anything around the house while my daughter was visiting Grandma and Pap-Pap. So this means I need to step it up, but the end of August has been just as busy as well.

I have started Roger CPA Review in the last month or so and am excited by Roger’s enthusiasm. I hope I can enjoy the lessons as much as Roger seems to enjoy teaching.

The book is laid out well and seems user/note taker friendly. There have been a few updates which I have been able to print or view online.

Got to love trying to be up to date on everything. I mean CPA exam changes, topic changes, and then there is the home life: keeping my daughter’s homework and getting her to sit and read, while figuring out dinner used to be stressful.

Now add that I am trying to find quiet time to sit and study. And this fall, I am already glad I have DVR. Where would I be without it for all the fall premieres starting shortly?

I have been worrying about a promotion at work and moving buildings. The little things that need to be figured out and passing the work on are just as stressful. Meanwhile my daughter is starting 3rd grade and we are both trying to get used to the routine. Granted the after school activities have not started, but that’s another hustle and bustle.

Hopefully things slow down so I can catch a breath (even if it’s a brief second)!
