FAR is over for now; Sense of Relief

Stephanie is a weekly Club 75 Blogger as she documents her journey through the CPA Exam.

I took Financial Accounting and Reporting Friday and it lived up to its nickname of “the beast.” There were several areas of study which I finally felt like I mastered and was glad for it (bonds, pensions, government and NFP accounting), but a few areas where there were several questions and I was lacking. This weekend I relaxed and it felt good to not study or worry about a test.

On the job front, this morning I had an appointment with a recruiter. Also, on Friday I got a job lead that the guy that hired me at my last job is looking for a tax person in his department. I sent him my resume, so hopefully one of those things works out.

I’m probably going to take a few days off and start studying for audit sometime this week. I haven’t gotten my CPA review materials, but they should be coming soon.

Happy studying!

Stephanie
