Studying for Auditing and Attestation has been great the second time around but it has come with its struggles as well. Despite any struggles, I would still rather study for AUD any day of the week than take FAR again.
I find it very hard to focus on reading the things I feel as though I already know and my mind wanders to thoughts like “I already know this why didn't I pass it the first time?”
I try to push those thoughts away and focus on learning as much as I can because obviously i missed some important concepts last time or else i would have passed.
It can be difficult at times when I have so many other things to distract me and the rest of my 23-year-old friends seem so young and care-free.
Still, I push on…
My recent studies included the section on Reviews and Compilations which are the only sections that I scored below-average in my previous exam. That seems simple enough, right?
Reviews are less in scope than an audit and a compilation is less in scope than a review…what else is there to know?
I've really focused on this section hoping to get a few more points so that hopefully this isn't the section that pulls me down.
On the other hand, will focusing on this and taking time away from another section hinder me in the long run?!?
Only time will tell…23 days til test day :/
