I found out last night I failed Audit by 2 points. What a huge disappointment!!! I passed FAR on the first try with a 77 and felt that test was more challenging. Any helpful tips on how to prepare for the Audit retake? The tips I’ve already read are to do 100-200 MCQ’s a day, reread FAR flashcards, and study the areas I was weak on when I receive the performance report. Any other helpful tips?

    BEC - NINJA in Training
    FAR - 77
    REG - NINJA in Training

I am sorry your failed AUD. We all first think FAR is the most challenging because it is the largest exam of all four. But all the exams are challenging. Hell I had to take BEC three times. The thing that helped me with AUD was reading the questions the way it is asked and also answer the question the way I thought the examiner wanted the question answered. As Roger states during his lectures, you can get so suck in the question because it is so subjective (I fell in that trap my first exam). Try to read the question for what it is and answer it for what it is. NINJA did help tremendously because I was able to practice more with the MCQs. Flashcards didn't really help me. Watching the lectures, reading my notes and taking the MCQs (making sure I read the answers to each question before moving on to the next). MCQs helped me tremendously (always great practice). I did read the score report to get an idea of my weaker areas the first fail. But I still studied the second time like I never took the exam because you never know what question will be on the exam. The AICPA practice exam helped as well.

    FAR 64, 78

    REG 77

    AUD 73, 80

    BEC 67, 73, 78
