Am I doomed? I completed all of my FAR and passed easily. Hope this doesn’t spell doom for me. I did finish BOTH written comms in each Sim, though, which was the smartest strategy.

Has anyone else not finished and still managed to pass?? Can’t believe I ran out of time on AUD!!! It was very. very, very tricky though. Enough where I rethought my answers 3,4, 5 times each.

Not to mention that I think I have strep throat. Felt like I was dying before it started. Heres to hoping I passed!!

I just took AUD yesterday and damn near ran out of time myself. When I did the 2 Becker practice “Final Exams”, I knocked them out in about 2.5 hours each, and scored about an 80% on the portion that was graded. But yesterday for the actual test I took almost the full 4.5 hours as after the 1st teslet it seemed like just about EVERY SINGLE QUESTION on the other 4 teslets involved something I had not seen in Becker and had to really think about. I literally took a hair under 20 minutes for the 1st teslet and then over 4 hours for the other 4. Like you said, very, very, very tricky, way moreso than I expected.

I'm not sure about AUD, but I ran out of time on my 2nd sim for FAR and still passed. I imagine the same could be the case for AUD. I would say if you at least did the WC's you shouldn't worry too much.

    FAR: 81 (1/20) AUD: 88 (2/27) REG: 91 (4/19) BEC: 75 (5/20)

When I took Regulation (feb 2009) I did not get to my second simulation. I finished my first one and just opened my second one with about 10 mins left. I completely lost track of time and thought I was DOOMED…..

I got my score in SHOCK 88%

    So anything is possible….

I took Aud for the second time a week ago, and I ran out of time. I was done most of it, was finishing my WC. Don't feel bad that you ran out of time. It happens. For me, the WCs were hard. Its hard to come up with 3 full paragraphs on the questions they ask. So was just thinking too much and ran out of time for that reason. Hopefully you passed!

    Hey,

Dont worry about the simulation if you are confident about the MCQ's ….i studied really hard for FAR and on the exam day i almost didnt attempt the 2nd simulation….and even the 1st one, i just managed to guess things….still shudder when i remember that time….in about 35 mins i had two whole simulations to do and i got so nervous, the questions made no sense to me…..did half of communication of 1st sim, didnt have time to look at the written of 2nd sim…..and miracle!! i passed! just got the result this wednesday….i was all prepared to do FAR all over again. Concentrate on the upcoming exams…wish you good luck for AUD and other papers to come.

Hi, Just took AUD Saturday February 27th. I took FAR Monday February 8th, and received my score already, so the Wave 1 must have been extended.

On FAR I skipped an entire tab in a simulation (ran out of time and subject matter was way out of left field), and still scored a 93

I thought Audit was a much easier exam and finished with 1.5 hours to spare. I think it depends on your comfort level and experience. As a 40 year old Controller, who just wen through an audit, the questions were a bit easier. however, as a Financial accountant and Finance pro, I don't focus on sampling and audit risks…those questions always throw me.
