Wave 1 Cutoff for AUD

I took the first 3 exams and passed them all with scores in the 80's. On Aug. 31 I

took AUD and I got a 74. I am so frustrated. That's right, I'm one point away.

I am not sure if I should retake AUD in Wave 1 or Wave 2. I am favoring Wave 1 because

I am so tired of studying this stuff and I want to get it done ASAP. I know the MC

questions so well. I just got burned by the Sims, they were so hard and strange.

I am thinking of scheduling AUD for 10/26/09. Will I be in Wave 1 for sure?

My first exam was REG on 10/28/09. I ended up getting my score on 12/18/08 which means I was put in Wave 2. So I would like to be in Wave 1 but I am not sure about the

    cutoff.

Jeff, maybe you can answer my quetion here?

Oops! I meant to say my first exam was REG on 10/28/08, not 10/28/09.

I'm interested to know also. I want to take AUD in October/November window but I want to try to be in Wave 1. I know if I get a new sim I will be put in Wave 2, but there is hope if I take it early enough…so when is the cutoff?

i am new to this forum, and, i haven't taken one part of the exam yet. i am interested in everyone's experiences here. this thread is particularly interesting to me as i contemplate when to schedule my first part.

from what i understand, the aicpa sends out scores to nasba, and then you guys get scores, but it seems like such a long time in between. i guess i don't understand the wave things. isn't this exam computerized? can someone explain why it takes so long?
