I know what they say about this exam being unpredictable. I'm very relieved and grateful that I passed. But I also feel like my score could have been higher. I did so many MCQs……. and I practiced nearly ALL the SIMs…… At least I can enjoy my yakitori rightfully and in peace.November 4, 2016 at 10:38 am #1312549jules_cpaParticipant

SarahT: I'm facing taking too many notes as well. I can see that you bought the ninja multiple choice questions. But, what did you do for your note-taking did you just stop and listen to the lectures and then take notes? Also, did you buy the Ninja notes?November 14, 2016 at 4:37 pm #1318598crick84Participant
Just snuck by with a 77! Only study materials were Ninja MCQ/Sim.

Passed after the third try with an 82! Got a 53 and a 62 the previous times. I am done! Cannot believe it!!!November 22, 2016 at 5:06 am #1323200CPA_ChikParticipant
AAAAAAA 76!!!!!!!!!! My MCQs were a disaster mainly concentrating on 2 particular topics and I though the testlets got harder because my head was spinning more towards the end (it wasn't wordier at all, just mind-tripping). I was 100% sure in only 1 sim as it was word-for-word from AL. I wasn't even sure in the research as it wasn't specific and could be 10 different answers.
I'm still sobbing and shaking, finally a pass I needed after all the work! I really got a boost I needed to continue with BEC!!!November 22, 2016 at 9:27 am #1323544luke0318Participant
Still in shock, got a 92 on Audit first try! Spent about 10 weeks preparing while attending graduate school part time. Multiple choice is key here, used Becker, Gleim and Wiley (the last week using the free trial). When you get something wrong, sit there and understand why. I felt awful walking out of the test and was certain I failed, but look at me now! Anything is possible if you put in the time and hard work.

Just found out, AUD 87! I thought passing was gamble when I walked out of the testing center. Also just found out I passed FAR with and 89. Took them two weeks apart. It was hell but now it was totally worth it.November 22, 2016 at 2:09 pm #1324088GoBears123Participant
Passed AUD in California today with a 90. Like many here, I thought for sure I failed — the MCQs in particular were significantly different from Becker (I thought harder, but maybe not given my score).
Halfway there for me! Two down, two to go….November 23, 2016 at 10:21 am #1324975Thomahawk88Participant
Failed with a 73 7-8 weeks ago, studied my ass off passed with an 87 today
Best advice I can give is read the notes and slides over and over again, do less multiple choice and SIMs

Wow @Pharaoh congrats on the high score!
I came out thinking I could go either way. Saw 6 or 7 MCQs on a topic my text barely covered. Luckily God was on my side!December 16, 2016 at 9:52 am #1393431EZ_Sims_4_me_PlsParticipant

Failed AUD back in early August with a 71. I used Yaeger lectures and the Wiley Book from 2014. Having old materials messed me up a little for this exam. Purchased updated copies of the Wiley Book and Wiley Focus Notes and went to town. It was so much better studying on the computer than flipping back-and-forth through a book. I waited almost 4 months to get started again. Knocked out BEC in that time frame but just couldn't bring myself to get cracking on AUD until 8 days before the exam. Over those 8 days, I put in about 90 hours of studying and it paid off. 79, woohoo!
It's funny with the retake because certain topics I got hammered on for test 1 barely appeared during test 2. Yeah, certain test themes are the same but the odds-and-ends have so much variance. As soon as I get out of every test, I write down as much as possible about the exam in case I have to take it again. Those AUD questions sure are tricky. Good riddance AUD! REG, here I come.December 16, 2016 at 1:03 pm #1393922Nutcracker2016Participant
