I work in Tax. I know the basic fundamentals of tax very well. I took Reg and everything seemed so easy to me. I finished an hour and a half early and thought I easily got a 90 or above. I just checked the score release and got a 66. Has this ever happened to anyone? And if so how did you deal with the crushing blow
Sorry to hear this 30-40%ish of REG is Law/Ethics…is it possible you were weak in some tax areas (working in tax doesn't necessarily mean one does all of the different types of returns) and weak in a lot of the law areas?
Have to regroup on the stuff you didn't know very well.
I work in tax as well and trying to avoid this as much as possible. Going to hammer business law and individual taxation as those will be my weak areas.
Sorry to hear your situation. It happened to me when i thought i would get in the 80s but ended up with 69. I got 79 once i reviewed everything again n realized there were some concepts i was little weak in. You will pass next time
