Are BEC scores usually released in more than one group?

I sat for the BEC exam in Tennessee during the last week in February. However, I still haven’t received my score. BEC was my first exam. I saw that a lot of BEC scores were released on March 17th. Are BEC scores usually released in more than one group?

I’ve called NASBA candidate representatives a couple of times about my inability to view my score, but they weren’t exactly helpful. They just told me that if I couldn’t view my score on-line, then my score hasn’t been released yet. They said that my score would be released before the end of March. I’m just so frustrated with this whole process. The representatives didn’t even bother to take my name, section ID number, etc. to double-check to see whether my score had been received, but maybe that was too much to expect. Any information/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I know last window Audit, FAR, and Reg all had mutliple AICPA releases, but I dont remember about BEC. But if you call Nasba back ask them directly if they have received your score and they will ask for you state, name, and section. That way you will know if they have it. It probably hasn't been released yet though. You may be boarder line, or the AICPA may just be holding them because they suck.

    HOLY CRAP I DID IT!!!!

TennCPA – You need to call NASBA back and determine what is going on with your score. BEC is normally released in one shot because it is all multiple choice questions. There could be an issue with your birthdate, maybe NASBA has your record set up wrong. I have heard that before. Does TN let you take the exam even if you do not meet all the requirements but will not release scores until you do? Just some questions and thoughts based on previous post I have read. They should be able to tell you if they received your score. Tell them this is your first exam and you really don't know what else to do. You might get some sympathy points. Good Luck

Good advice Lee, and, TennCPA, if you get a rep that is not very helpful, call them again until you get someone willing to get to the bottom of it. Don't take no for an answer. You need to get to the bottom of this since there are no other waves this window.

The window is supposed to be closed…aka no more BEC scores…e-mail me at jeff@another71.com and I'll put you in touch with the NASBA person you need to talk to.

Thanks for the advice, everyone! I very much doubt that I passed the exam, but it would be nice to know for sure so I can move on with my life.

Jeff, I just sent you an e-mail.

I heard from NASBA, and my birth date had been listed incorrectly. I finally got to see my score, and I passed! Thank you again for the support.

Congrats TennCPA – I guessed right. You are not the first person who has had their birthdate listed incorrectly and probably will not be the last. What a surprise you must have felt after seing you passed since you doubted that you did. Good Luck on your future exams.
