I felt pretty good when I finished BEC, but I was worried the pretest questions may screw me. BUT I GOT IT! 92! 2 down, 2 to go!December 19, 2019 at 9:16 am #2851755December 19, 2019 at 9:19 am #2851761
BEC was my worst too. I hated it. 70 then a 69 so hopefully I get it on the next go.December 19, 2019 at 9:20 am #2851773
Sighhhhhhhhhhhh I dont know to be happy I got within 10 points or mad that I missed it by 10 lol. Anywho, the next go should do it.

Illinois here. Just got my AUD score: 79!!! I definitely thought I failed. Becker mock scores 72 and 83.December 19, 2019 at 9:29 am #2851824

Passed REG with a 86! Left the test with an hour left, but knew I did well on Sims but probably took an educated guess on around half of the MCQ. I think this is proof that if you feel good about one or the other your in a a good spot. I felt great about MCQ on FAR but bad on sims, got an 82.December 19, 2019 at 11:07 am #2852148OrpheusParticipant
97 trending score—85 average. 69 on test. There was ABSOLUTELY no way to be prepared any better to this F… trash. PhD in business + 5 years experience TEACHING related topics + 2 months of FULL time preparation. About 30 questions on COSO + IT garbage based on the trash you could only guess, not learn or apply.
Conclusion: I will NEVER hire a CPA just because of the designation; Total disrespect to the intrinsic value of CPA… It is not a reflection of anything anymore…December 19, 2019 at 11:24 am #2852181Jessica HParticipant
Passed BEC with 86!!! First try! I honestly thought I failed because I guessed a simulation and started essay with 20 minutes left, and of course didn't finish them. In fact, after the exam I already started re-studying BEC. I had no idea in my wildest dream I would pass with 86. I guess hard work pay off. If you don't give up good things will happen!!December 19, 2019 at 11:30 am #2852214CPA4Sure29Participant
Passed FAR with 80. Thank you Lord! Thought I failed because I left 2 sims blank but was strong on on the MCQ. Failed BEC with a 70. Need to work on the writing section. 2 down, 2 to go. You only fail when you give up. Keep trying.December 19, 2019 at 11:33 am #2852232jasondonofrioParticipant

Thank you very much! Your experience sounded very close to mine, was holding my breath for you! Was very happy to see you pass then only hoped I could somewhat mimic your success, looks like we both pulled through.December 19, 2019 at 3:03 pm #2852748I can and I willParticipant

I completely understand your frustration. I have passed the other three parts and I cannot pass BEC. My previous scores for BEC were 70, 70 and now I have just got a 66. I am in total shock because I have been studying full time for the last two months, my trending scores were 90 in Ninja and 84 in Gleim. I have gone through thousands of questions…and simulations, watched YouTube videos, took over 100 pages of notes. I really don’t` know what else I can do to pass this exam. Audit will expire in February if I do not to pass BEC. I feel discouraged and broken right now.December 19, 2019 at 8:47 pm #2853378
I am really sorry to hear your situation, it sounds like you have earnestly put forth the effort. You’ve probably received advice previously and anything I say will just be echoing what you’ve been told already. I get that you feel broken… completely understandable. I want you to do me and yourself a favor though, keep pushing and once you achieve this, and you will, it is going to be that much sweeter. Give this everything you’ve got until You take this again, put aside any distractions, make sure you have a great support circle, and let’s get this done. I know you’re going to make it, keep your head up.
Edit: it sounds like you should already have this in the bag, and would pass 7/10 times at least if you were to take it over and over; the mission now to ensure the next one is a pass is to study deeper and try to learn what you don’t know, spend the most time and get cozy in the areas you’re most uncomfortable with. Aim for a 99 on your next go.December 20, 2019 at 6:13 am #2853669DocJParticipant

Thanks AICPA. VERY freaking helpful -_-
If I ever become an accountant (like hell that'll happen), I refuse to pay an AICPA membership until they fix this BS exam.December 20, 2019 at 1:42 pm #2854338NaimaParticipant

Thank you for your advice and encouragement. I am determined to give everything I have got in my next try for BEC. I have cancelled all my plans for the holidays and I will study as much as I can. I have been in this journey for almost two years and I cannot wait to be over. It`s incredible that I was able to pass FAR in 6 weeks and I have been trying for more than 6 months to pass BEC. Hopefully from today in 6 weeks my BEC nightmare will be over.December 21, 2019 at 1:25 am #2855196
