2/12/18 – all material received by CPA unit and submitted to board for approval
5/25/18 – the board has approved my education and work experience, case has been sent to processing unit for review and licensing
6/6/18 – date of licensure

I'm pretty livid right now.
They reviewed mine last Monday, June 4th. They emailed me and said they'd had a question about a date on my 4B form and had emailed my supervisor. He responded to his email immediately – within 20 minutes. Now its on hold, “until she gets around to it”. As of Thursday I was told “she reviews emails on Fridays” and “to call back Monday to follow up”. As of this morning, “I don't know who told you that, she gets to them when she gets to them”.
It appears that they have one person – ONE PERSON – reviewing the files.
So as of right now, I have zero time frame, even though they're way past my date (2/20). I am pissed.

Just a reminder to everyone that they lost a reviewer and have not been able to rehire due to budget constraints/hiring freeze.
(at least that's how it was explained to me.)
This isn't the place for politics, but maybe if there was a little less corruption in Albany, they might have money to get shit done.
Register and vote. This state is drowning in bullshit and its the #1 reason I cannot wait to get out.

I wrote to my representatives to complain about the extremely long wait, whether they will do anything or not who knows. But a 4 month wait time to get a professional license is detrimental to all of us waiting and the state as a whole. Id advise everyone else to contact their representatives and complain. Again it may not do anything especially for us right now but it at least brings it to someones attention that could do something about it and may help someone down the road.

I considered contacting a representative or some friends with friends in Albany, but I really didn't want to ruffle any more feathers than necessary as I really needed acceptance under the 15 year path.
