    I have just started studying the audit section for the cpa section. I decided to write my notes from my becker book and I notice I am just coping what the book says. The downside of writing my notes is that it is taking forever for each chapter. I am curious if you could provide any insight how you studied for the cpa exam. If you could provide any advice I greatly appreciate it!

    I wouldn't re-write what the book says. I would take notes on anything that stood out, or bolded. The bulk of your notes is most likely going to be from practicing MCQs and writing down anything you got wrong or guessed. Hope this helps.
